Greetings Crown of Life Community Baptist Church Family and Friends,

Based on the literature from our health experts and hospitals, we want to be mindful of the following:

What is the current status of COVID-19?

COVID-19 is like the flu in many ways. Symptoms include high fever, cough, and shortness of breath. Although COVID-19 started in China, cases are now confirmed in many parts of the world. As of today, there are over 1 million cases in the United States. Hospitals throughout the US are vigilant to keep everyone safe, educated, and healthy.

What can I do to maximize my preparedness and prevention?

• Wash your hands frequently

• Cough/sneeze into your elbow

• Stay home if you are sick, and don’t return until you are fever-free for 24 hours without medication

• Get your flu shot

If you or a member of your household have just returned from a high-risk area, notify your physician immediately. You need to stay at home for 14 days. If you show no symptoms after that time, you can return to work and other activities. If you develop influenza-like symptoms, please seek a medical evaluation as soon as possible.

Is Crown of Life Community Baptist Church Prepared?

We are taking the necessary precautions to keep everyone safe.  To promote physical distancing, we suspended in-person worship services.  During this time, we gather via our YouTube channel.  Our Sunday live stream begins at 9:30 for prayer and 10:00 for worship.

Pastor Andy Stanley said it best. If someone asks why your church chose to respond to this health crisis by closing its doors, here is a response.

  1. We are loving our neighbors by protecting our neighbors.

  2. We are not being fearful. We are being responsible.

  3. This is what love requires of us in this season.

We continuously monitor the COVID-19 developments and will communicate pertinent information as it becomes available. Our goal is to ensure the health and safety of the Crown of Life Community Baptist Church family and friends. We update information and share the links via Facebook and email. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach me at
